Dan's music always strikes me as a bridge between synthesis, material and body. The sounds can barely be traced back to their origin, a major nod to the "outside" qualities of electronic noise and industrial soundscapes which are a crucial part of my practice. Dan's capacity to make breath metallic and metal breathe feels like some kind of cyborgian future Harway would be stoked to find out about. This track is my attempt to emulate Dan's approach using my Trogotronics the way Dan and his trumpet seem to produce sounds that often come only when my Trogs and I are completely in sync
